Dr Boersma and his team were fantastic when I phoned them for help (as a totally new client) after my regular vet practice was unable to accommodate my pet emergency. Dr Boersma advised me on the phone & made an appointment to see my pup for surgery the same day. He is a very caring vet, thoroughly professional and I appreciated the service from him and his staff. Needless to say, we'll be going back to SBHV.

We've been taking our dogs (our furry kids) to David for over 10 years. We like the continuity and David has always been really good with them. We actually choose to travel 50 kilometres to see David rather than take them to a vet 15 kilometres away. The vet nurses are very good too.

My first months in Hobart I found David and his team showed such respect for me and my little Chihuahua Mai we had no wish to go anywhere else... 5.5 years since of honest, reliable and friendly treatment and with another puppy, I say thank you very very much as we return to the mainland. Dr David is the best. David and team have been looking after my animals (cats, dogs, pigs) for about 8 years now, and I can't recommend them highly enough. How lucky we are in Hobart to have a holistic vet who is not only knowledgeable and compassionate, but works with us to help our animals with natural therapies alongside the medical model. I recently had my first visit to Sandy Bay Holistic Veterinary Centre with my 8 year old male Dalmatian. 

To say that my experience for both myself and Hamish dog left me feeling happy and very importantly, confident that I have found 'the vet for us' would be an understatement. 

David and Sally were absolutely incredible and knowledgeable, not only with handling and treatment both physically and mentally, every consideration was taken to ensure Hamish's care, both current and future for his wellbeing was met.
